  • Wednesday 6 October 10am to 4pm

The iconic bridge has been designed by Bruce, who earlier this year worked with local school children and held a public open studio to gather concepts for what local people wanted the bridge to represent.

A refreshing and eye-catching design. (Hopefully it will not be a paper-trap and will be reasonably self-cleansing.)

The stone-filled gabion support looks rather utilitarian; it could be softened by some ivy or other climbing plants.

Are not Sustrans and the Lottery funding it 100%?

    It should look good.
