Plans on show

Work on the junction improvements as part of the Weymouth Transport Package will start on 7 June.

A timeline of the works will be on display alongside drawings of the new junctions and a map of the bus stops to be equipped with real time passenger information during a public exhibition at Weymouth Library next week.

The project team will also be available to answer your questions on the scheme.

so ,how is the road through to Hope Square going to be limited to “light local traffic”, who is going to monitor that? The whole area around Brewers Quay is going to be a congested nightmare, don’t say I didnt warn you! A lovely ,tranquil, holiday hotspot ……..totally ruined. GOOD JOB!!!!

      Hi Louise,

The signed diversion route is through Lanehouse, but for local people living in Chapelhay and Wyke it would make life easier for them to use their local roads (Hope Square).

We are monitoring all of the diversion routes and will make any changes as necessary.
